The course

An Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System provides a framework for managing Health and Safety risks and opportunities. The aim is to prevent work-related injury and ill-health and to provide a safe and healthy working environment

When appropriate OH&S measures are applied within an organisation, they improve its OH&S performance and an OH&S management system provides more effective opportunities for improving that performance

As well as assisting with fulfilling an organisation’s legal and other requirements, an Occupational Health & Safety management system conforming to ISO 45001 enables an organisation to better manage its OH&S risks

Recognising that implementing an Occupational Health and Safety management system is a strategic decision the success of that system depends on top management’s commitment and participation at all levels
