Suitable if you are 18+ and are employed or recently unemployed and looking to upskill in the digital sector or for digital roles.

Tutorials will be online with an online workbook to complete. You will need access to a computer or laptop.

The average time to complete one of these courses is either 3 or 5 weeks, but it can be completed sooner if you have the time. Various start dates from 1st June 2020 through to August.

Develop the knowledge and understanding to publish, integrate and share using social media. You will be able to identify the main networks and the features of various social media platforms and why you would use them. You will also be able to identify the benefits and risks of networking on social media for an organisation. The average time to complete this course is 3 weeks.

Learn how to search for and select appropriate information to meet personal and organisational needs. You will learn how to evaluate the information you find, understand copyright, and be able to store information in line with organisational procedures. The average time to complete this course is 5 weeks.

Learn how to manage and promote your digital reputation and online identity. You’ll be able to use social media and the internet to search and prepare applications for voluntary and paid employment and use technology to facilitate personal and professional learning and career progression. The average time to complete this course is 5 weeks.

Principles of digital marketing

Learn about the role of digital marketing and integral elements such as search engine optimisation, internet market research, digital marketing devices and technology. The average time to complete this course is 5 weeks.

IT Cyber Security – Understand threats to ICT systems and data

A great introduction for those wanting to know more about cyber security. Learn how to understand potential risks and what steps to take to protect your own and others’ systems, data and software. The average time to complete this course is 3 weeks.
